Now days to
be a teacher is not limited to have knowledge of a specific of your discipline
area.
It goes farther. It is important to have the skills necessaries
to face the challenges of our times such a technology, new methods of teaching,
evaluation, updates of your discipline area. A Every day the requirements to a
teacher increases, and that is not the problem, the real concern is if teachers
have been taught in such a way so that they can fulfill with this expectations.
There a lot
of teachers in the world but it doesn´t mean that all of them are professional
competence. Not all of them look to refresh their techniques, pedagogical skills,
attitude, knowledge of contexts etc.
They stop their personal grow, and this no affecting themselves but
affecting many students that they come across.
To be a
teacher it is a privilege and not a condemnation to deal with what other people
don´t wants to deal with.
